Busy hands, busy mind, always wanting to know the how and why, curious. I love to create and develop ideas that ultimately make people smile, to give old things a new life and I love color.

I made the move to Birmingham from the Boston area in 1984 when I married the man who always puts up with my eccentric ways. We have two amazing daughters.  Alabama has been home for just about thirty-six years. I love living in Birmingham—It is home for me.

Education: BA in Art from University of Massachusetts

Experience: Advertising, freelance graphic designer, muralist & gallery artist in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and Alabama.

I am newly retired (2020) from being a Visual Arts Specialist at a private Montessori school teaching young creative minds, doing so for twenty three years. I am looking forward to many more hours in the studio creating new and varied works. I love the creative process and I am usually covered in paint. Art is a lifelong adventure and passion for me, creating color and texture and things to make both of us smile.
